Pasta con polpette

Ingredients needed
Serves 4-5 people
- 1 jar Favuzzi tomato sauce
- 1 package Favuzzi spaghetti
- 350-400 g ground beef (or half beef, half pork)
- 2 eggs
- 3-4 tbsp grated parmigiano
- 3 spoonfuls breadcrumbs
- Very finely chopped parsley (optional)
- Favuzzi extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- A few fresh basil leaves
- Salt and pepper

Steps of preparation
- In a non-stick saucepan, sauté the garlic in olive oil, then add the tomato sauce.
- Fill one quarter of the empty bottle with water and add to the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper, add the basil, cover and leave to simmer gently until the sauce thickens.
- In a bowl, combine the ground meat, eggs, grated cheese, salt and pepper, chopped parsley and breadcrumbs.
- Lightly wet your hands and shape the mixture into small meatballs. Add them to the sauce.
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and serve topped with tomato sauce and meatballs.
